Volume XIX, Platform Magazine
I co-led the visual direction and production of an 88-page fashion & culture publication, managing a team of five designers while overseeing layout systems, art direction, cover design, and final publication assembly.

the design
We designed Volume XIX to contrast the typical spring fashion imagery, using deep colors and fuzzy imagery to morph memory and reality. XIX contrasts the rigid, grid-like layout of Volume XVIII with feelings of dreams and hazy memories.

I film photos on set of the cover shoot, adding a "behind-the-scenes" lens to the digital photos taken by Lizzy Novelli.
